Kath grew up with a Spiritualist mother (who had a psychic grandmother) and became aware of spirit when, as a very small child in WA, she played frequently with her ‘imaginary friend.’ After moving to the NT as a very young girl and without the benefit of a spiritualist church, she started reading books by Edgar Cayce before she reached her teenage years extending her thirst for knowledge with books by Doris Collins, Carl Sagan, Brian Weiss and Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, White Eagle and Silver Birch. She became very intrigued by Edgar Cayce’s books, in particular, which crystallised long-held beliefs in an afterlife, reincarnation and the continuity of the soul.

She became more aware of spirit when a dearly-loved friend died tragically at a very young age and visited a gifted medium interstate to help her understand why this had to happen. This beautiful medium provided her with great comfort and solace, and predicted the return of something the friend had given her and that she would hear a new message from that friend on the tape that they had sent her.

Weeks later, having forgotten these predictions, she was shocked when a much-loved lost photo of that friend dropped out of a drawer that it could not physically fit into, no matter how hard she tried. Then, months later, when her grief was more bearable, she heard a message of love on a cassette that had previously not been there. That physical proof of the validity of mediumship and of the existence of life after death was life-changing.

She has experienced spirit in a very physical way. Whilst lying in bed one night as a very young teenager, she was flooded for several minutes with an intense column of brilliant white light, which extended beyond the ceiling of her room. It was filled with enormous love and joy. Since that time, she has been fortunate enough to have been made aware of spirit physically, audibly, visually and prophetically.

Her Training

She started her formal mediumship training at 19, whilst studying her degrees in Adelaide after meeting, through a well-regarded spiritualist church, with a highly gifted, spiritual teacher who communicated with spirit in a truly unique and authentic way. He used a specialised technique, which resulted in a physical manifestation of confirmation of information and messaging directly from spirit.

That training continued on for many more years until she moved to Canberra. Using these techniques and skills as a foundation, she further developed her psychic training with Psychic, Lucy Baker and her medical intuitive training with highly-skilled and experienced Medical Intuitive, Leonie A. David. Kath then completed a three-month mediumship course with Norman and Lynette Ivory, Canberra Spiritualist Church, and was closely tutored weekly for two years in a psychic mediumship and healing development group by a well-known Canberra medium, going on to do a Mediumship Platform training course with Medium Sara Jeffery and completing a weekend mediumship intensive with international Medium, Lynn Probert from The Arthur Findlay College, UK. She also completed two courses with Psychic Medium, Jenny Martin.

In 2020, after wanting much higher levels of training, she completed intensive advanced training with Val Hood, Evidential Medium, Sydney and multiple intermediate and advanced training courses with Lisa Williams, Psychic Medium, USA. She is currently studying the Certified Angel Guide course with Kyle Gray.

Appearances

Kath worked at Heavenly Connections, Gold Creek for two and a half years between 2018-2020. She now works entirely from home. She has demonstrated at The Gathering of Canberra Mediums and appeared at the Ultimate Women’s Expo (2019), where several first-time clients returned with their friends and colleagues the next day, booking out all her readings slots.

She has appeared at The Gypsy Caravan Fair (2019), The Mingara Fair (2019, 2020 & 2023) and the Elemental Events Fairs (Cooma 2020), being booked out at their two-day Wagga Wagga Fair (July 2021) and the Living Wellness Fair (Goulburn 2023). She is a sought-after reader at The Good Earth Psychic Fairs (2022, 2023) in Canberra, Ulladulla and Yass, and gives mediumship demonstrations. She is excited to be reading for the first time at the Canberra Psychic Fair in October 2023 with Fiona Vanderhook.
